Seven Devils

Not sure what it is with the numerical names around here, but we’ve gone from the Sixes River to the Seven Devils Beach… from the brilliant blues to nearly monochrome.

    • There’s only one time when I don’t enjoy the beach and that’s when there’s a nasty, harsh wind blowing (usually from the north). It can feel like you’re being sandblasted and nearly knocking you over. That’s generally when I tuck the pup into my jacket and head home. But fog or overcast skies have their own beauty to offer. I tend to prefer those to bright sunny days without any clouds at all.

    • Sissy used to chase them when she was a pup, but eventually figured out she couldn’t catch them and gave up. If she gets too close, they calmly stroll on just out of reach most of the time.
