Cape Sebastian

Wild and wonderful south coastSebastian-1795This grand show is eternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never all dried at once; a shower is forever falling; vapor is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal sunset, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls.

    • It’s been a rather nice cycle. Some sunny days interspersed with a few rainy ones. Keeps me busy mowing the grass. Something you don’t have to worry about! 😀

    • Muir is certainly an inspiration. If you cut over at Grants Pass, you’re missing what I consider to be the best and greatest part of the coast. Cape Sebastian is roughly 30 miles north of the California border. Big Sur used to be my favorite, but it’s way too mobbed these days.

    • Don’t think I’d want to be stumbling down that cliff to get to the sand. There are headlands you can’t make it around without a paddle. Sebastian is one of those.
