There’s just something about mountains and the way the altitude plays with the light. Given that these were taken in mid-February, there should have been way more snow up there.Amazing how the trees just seem to cling to what looks like solid granite.I can’t help but wonder how this tree manages to cling to that boulder.
Another glorious Sierra day in which one seems to be dissolved and absorbed and sent pulsing onward we know not where. Life seems neither long nor short, and we take no more heed to save time or make haste than do the trees and stars. This is true freedom, a good practical sort of immortality.
