Cape Blanco sort of day

Beautiful clouds though the wind gusts almost blew me away…..

There are winds of destiny that blow when we least expect them. Sometimes they gust with the fury of a hurricane, sometimes they barely fan one’s cheek. But the winds cannot be denied, bringing as they often do a future that is impossible to ignore.

    • This zoomed shot is one of the few spots where I can eliminate the telecom towers near the lighthouse, but it makes for a lovely composition, too (when the clouds cooperate).

      • (blush) Thanks! As you’ve surely noticed, I’m a museum junkie. Your photo reminds me of so many of the Dutch landscape painters. They give LOTS of space to the sky also. And there’s a cow in the scene about 70% of the time. I looked for your cow but couldn’t spot it.
