over the top?

For a number of reasons, some health related,  I haven’t been doing much shooting lately, so I’ve been digging around in archives…..  Sometimes that means messing around with the occasional shot that didn’t make the first cut. Which also means I can get a bit carried away at times. Much like a kid playing with a new toy…play-1601Then again (I know this will utterly SHOCK some of you)… I could have done a black and white conversion for a shot that started out essentially in monochrome… 🙄play2-1601…and for those who have previously asked to see where I started, here’s the original (below)… somehow, not altogether inspiring.play-1601-2The most regretful people on earth are those who felt the call to creative work, who felt their own creative power restive and uprising, and gave to it neither power nor time.

    • hah! good try, but no cigar. I think it reminds of the days before color TV…. then it was the poor man’s version of television. That’s the way I see it now. No excuse except for attempts at saving a shot that should have gone into the bin.

  1. We are constantly growing, changing, evolving (at least I hope so or we would be stuck in a rut) so I believe our photography should as well…and what better way than to explore and play! I absolutely LOVE that middle b&w! The possibilities are endless! I hope that you are okay, Gunta and that you recover real soon, my friend.
