sweet sunset

Somewhere South of Gold Beach, the sun went down with a bit more color than I’ve been seeing lately (though I was a mite late in catching it.)so_coast-6225Each person deserves a day away in which no problems are confronted, no solutions searched for.

  1. I would love to have several days…or weeks…like that, with this for my evening viewing and with the enacted words described by Maya Angelou….. Beautiful image, Gunta. 🙂

  2. So beautiful Gunta. What a shame about the RV. This is why I prefer dawn shoots, not your favourite time of day I know, but most folks are still in bed leaving the landscape to me and my camera.. selfish I know but there it is! 🙂

    • Thanks, Chilli, but the RV didn’t really bother me. Plenty of room there by the side of the road. They were enjoying the sunset along with me and the gull. I just thought it was amusing since most folks assumed it was just me, all by my lonesome, and the gull there.

    • Thank you for the sweet words, Kate, but I feel that Momma Nature has to take the biggest part of the credit. Our shared coast is just filled with wonder.

  3. Just you, the gull, the light-hearted feathery clouds, and the endless ocean – all of you wishing the setting sun a grateful good evening. How beautiful and peaceful.

  4. Amazingly beautiful. It almost has the look of a Hollywood set, a planet far far away, and some remarkable event about to rise from it, some tale unfolding of great drama and import. How wonderful to have this engulfing you. I think it’s just great that you go forth to witness this, your ocean and beach and rocks, for yourself. And luckily, your readers too. And of course, the pup.
