Meandering with camera…
Looking North at Haystock Rock on Cannon Beach…I hate to hear you talk about all women as if they were fine ladies instead of rational creatures. None of us want to be in calm waters all our lives.
― Jane Austen, Persuasion
Great shot and great quote! Love that Jane Austen
Thank you, dear heart… Jane Austen was certainly ahead of her time… and spot on!
A pleasure dome, it seems, in this shot, so nicely framed and so summery looking.
This is definitely one of our iconic scenes, but the beaches, being closer to Portland, tend to be somewhat more crowded than I’m used to.
Such an amazing shot – the way you framed the rock in the tree branches and the depth of it…Nice quote too – bet you can relate to it!
Thanks for visiting and best of all, commenting!😀
Great shot. For me, uplifting and inspirational as well as beautiful.
Thanks! That sounds like a good thing.
What a gorgeous shot. I’d love to be at the coast and away from the smoke for a few days.
Wish you could enjoy our wonderful coast. I was concerned when I read your post about the fires. Hope they are contained as I type and not threatening you or anyone else. I’ve been around a few fires like that and they are very stress producing. Our air out here has looked quite smoggy lately, I wonder how much could be related to fires. Perhaps not yours, but could be others given our drought.
