ghost riders in the sky

Brought that oldie, but goody Western song to mind….. Same strange clouds, shot in a different direction.Bandon-0283Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts. There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature — the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter.”

  1. all clouds are not made alike…I’m used to midwestern and eastern clouds. I’m finding these southwestern ones are quite different at times…no doubt those off the Pacific are also unique…much fun watching the sky…:)

    • I love watching clouds in all their wonderful variety. A visit to northern Utah gave me some marvelous clouds up in the Rockies. They sure add a lot to photos.

  2. I can’t believe I never read “Silent Spring.” I need to paste that quote and your photo on my wall to remind me daily of why I moved here in the first place and to get outdoors and enjoy it.

  3. Beautiful image, Gunta…and playful title, as well. As for the words, I don’t know that I’ve read them before, but I know them already…their message, anyway…and intimately…. 🙂
