Meandering with camera…
Laughter is sunshine, it chases winter from the human face.
― Victor Hugo, Les Misérables
Kind of a different photo for you, dear Gunta…and I like it very much. It would make a nice cover for a greeting card…..
It was a bit of a happy accident, really. Quite underexposed, so punching up the exposure added quite a lot of noise, but then that seemed to add to the dreamy effect. Yes, I think it might just work for a greeting card. A happy birthday to dad from a daughter perhaps? Or something?
This does have a dreamy quality to it, like an old photo being revisited, surrounded by loving memories.
My first impulse was to delete…. but the finger kept hesitating.
So glad you didn’t. 🙂
What a beautiful quote for a beautiful picture!
Why thank you so very much for the nice comment.
This is just lovely Gunta!
Thanks, Chilli. It certainly doesn’t pass on the technological level. It was dark and the ISO was 3200 and it was shot on the fly to catch the moment and somehow the grain and the fuzziness seemed to add to the spirit… the sheer fun and joy both were experiencing.
whose having more fun?
Hard to tell, really.
I just see the little ones smiling face! The joy!!!
Oh yes! It makes me smile whenever I look at it.
Oh, what a beautiful image, Gunta! Looks just like my son and his little one. 🙂
It could be that was my inspiration… I just couldn’t resist the shot, but can’t remember how the dreamy focus happened. Probably because I had to catch it quickly before I missed the laughter.
Love this image, Gunta! A beautiful dream…I can hear the squeals of laughter!
You are so spot on. It does bring out echoes of laughter…
And a suitably dreamy image it is!
Purely accidental, but seemed fitting.
How wonderfully captured. Dreams indeed!
It seems to have spoken to me…. 🙂
