a smaller pond

I haven’t been out to the beach for any number of reasons lately, so I’m making do with this puddle at an abandoned lot where I take the poodle for a run now and then…..puddle-2499When beetles fight these battles in a bottle with their paddles
and the bottle’s on a poodle and the poodle’s eating noodles…
…they call this a muddle puddle tweetle poodle beetle noodle
bottle paddle battle.

  1. Oh my, I have read today’s quote soooooo many times to my kids and grandkids. I love Dr Seuss and how his words flip off my tongue!

  2. Your quote is perfect. This is one of Dr. Seuss that I am not familiar with. I truly hope you are feeling better soon Gunta. This has gone on for far too long.

    • I stumbled across that one, too (never having heard it before). It’s such fun tripping into these delightful quotes. I couldn’t agree with you more about this sluggishness going on way too long. Blood work came back normal, so apparently we still don’t have a clue. This could take awhile…..

  3. That’s quite a puddle.. We didn’t have the Dr Seuss books as children but I’ve enjoyed them in adulthood Gunta. I love the ryhmes and doodling with words that goes on.

    • Seuss is especially fitting when doodling with the camera, too. That playful quality of his is something quite extraordinary…. and needless to say, Seuss wasn’t around in my day either. 😀

    • No, Sissy still stays out of water as much as possible. She’s definitely no water dog. As for the reasons… I wish the same, am getting mighty sick of being sick and tired.
