another splash

Note the birds on the cliffs for a bit of perspective or scale….waves-2749Whatever may be the tensions and the stresses of a particular day, there is always lurking close at hand the trailing beauty of forgotten joy or unremembered peace.

  1. Sigh…I miss those powerful waves. I have seen nothing that compares out here on the east coast. Perhaps as we venture further north I may have something to rival your beauty. 🙂

    • I grew up on the east coast and found it rather boring compared to the Pacific. I’ve been told that Maine has some rugged coastline, but having been to Acadia up in Maine, I suspect it’s like comparing the Catskills to the Rockies. I remember one trip I made back east with hubby. He was a native Oregonian and we were living in northern Utah. He was a history buff, so he was anxious to see the Cumberland Gap he’d read about so much. It’s an understatement to say he was a bit disappointed at the little mound he found when we got there…. 🙂
