Meandering with camera…
The waves and fog at play create a rather monochromatic scene….Happiness always looks small while you hold it in your hands, but let it go, and you learn at once how big and precious it is.

LOVE this image! I can hear those waves pounding!
Perhaps some day I’ll get my act together and give y’all the actual pounding waves in video…. or not.
Love it!! 🙂
Almost B&W… 😉
Wow! Love it….
Thank you, Scott.
Great shot! Those waves scream Power.
Thanks! They certainly are powerful. No doubt about it if you’ve seen some of the trees they move around onshore.
It sure is a beautiful coast.
The silver ligh of the picture is wonderful.
A very mysterious photo, Gunta. Love the way one can’t really distinguish between the sky, the fog and the waves.
Fog playing with waves and light is a very definite favorite of mine. Glad you liked the mystery.
I love the mood of a hazy, foggy day, when colors have been tamped down, quieting the senses. 🙂
Oh yes! I’ll take a day like this one over hot, screaming sunshine ANY day….. 😀
We are beginning to have some of that, although it was nice and cool late this afternoon.
I find blue-gray tones extremely calming. I always seem to take a deep, involuntary breath when I come across a scene with colors like this.
Very soothing indeed!
Monochrome is great when the fog is holding the cards.
Could not agree more!
How full of energy and yet strangely calming. I really do appreciate your beautiful photos of this amazing coast. Thank you.
I think you described my reaction to these foggy days perfectly – full of energy, yet calming. My pleasure entirely in sharing them with appreciative folks like you!
This worked out great, I like it very much!
Even foggy days provide opportunity (in addition to some much needed walks for both me and the pup.)
This is an absolutely gorgeous shot
Thank you, Jessica. Waves seem to be a favorite subject of mine.
The title is grey and appropriate! Great shot!
Thank you! I just love ‘playing’ with the waves… 🙂
