more waves

I never seem to tire of the crashing waves…Bandon-Here I came to the very edge
where nothing at all needs saying,
everything is absorbed through weather and the sea,
and the moon swam back,
its rays all silvered,
and time and again the darkness would be broken
by the crash of a wave,
and every day on the balcony of the sea,
wings open, fire is born,
and everything is blue again like morning.

  1. I don’t know how you could ever tire of them, Gunta…there is majesty and wonder in them…crazy beauty and power. I’m glad you keep going out there…to that very edge….

    • Been rather dreary here, too. This shot and others have been from archives. Sissy and I still go to the beach, but we haven’t been staying long because of the weather.

    • The storms that create these dramatic waves are sometimes way out to sea and aren’t felt so much at the beach. Those are the ones I like the best. Though I have been out when there’s been a storm raging closer. I usually don’t stay out long in that.
