the last gasp
The trees are down to just a few stubborn leaves -some entirely naked in places. That nip is in the air. Then this Sunday we quit saving daylight (spending it instead?) Fall (autumn for some of you folk) is definitely here with less than two months to the shortest day. And so the cycle continues.Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn.
