Bullards Beach

Sand and sea and clouds in a blue sky…Bullards-4066Why must people kneel down to pray? If I really wanted to pray I’ll tell you what I’d do. I’d go out into a great big field all alone or in the deep, deep woods and I’d look up into the sky—up—up—up—into that lovely blue sky that looks as if there was no end to its blueness. And then I’d just feel a prayer.

  1. Ah. Such a wonderfully open shot…. Almost like “into the wild” or “freedom” or well just loveliness!:D
And I LOVE the quote especially being where I currently live – I sometimes ask this, uhm, like 5 times a day! 😉

  2. This is a beautiful thought, and the photo – WOW! It seems to draw everything to the center, like when my art teacher was illustrating perspective. I really like it!

  3. Gorgeous, and seemingly endless vista, Gunta. Makes one realise how very small we are in the big scheme of things. Love the quote. I’ve never been one for this kneeling business. How can people pray when they’re so uncomfortable?
