Somewhere in Idaho….
I drove past this sight, but had to go back to figure out what it was…. on closer examination it was a bit strange to see the first two Pelicans on the left with a Cormorant each, sharing the clump they’re perched on. Altogether there are eleven American White Pelicans and seven Cormorants apparently taking a nap. If it weren’t for that fifth Pelican from the left showing his bill, I’m not sure I could have identified the white birds at all. This one you can zoom in on for a closer look. The things you see when you have a camera handy…. 😀
A wonderful bird is the Pelican.
His beak can hold more than his belly can.
He can hold in his beak
Enough food for a week!
But I’ll be darned if I know how the hellican?
