If you feel the urge, don’t be afraid to go on a wild goose chase. What do you think wild geese are for anyway?

      • I was back at the park for my lunch this past Friday and had the opportunity to actually pick-up about 8-10 of those baby ducks…they seem to have gotten separated from mom on the lower side of the huge curb near the aviary…mom was quacking up a storm and the babies were scuttling back and forth looking for a way to make it back up onto the lawn…. There was a group of younger school kids approaching and it seemed best to quickly move the little guys out of reach, so I scooped-up two or three at a time and helped them over the curb and back toward their mom…and then they all rushed (?) down to the safety of the water. They were tiny little things…hardly weighed anything in my hands…anyway…. 🙂

  1. Such lovely shots Gunta! We have the same Canadian geese over at our part of the world too! And they always bring a smile. That fella in the last photo sure is getting lots of attention 😀 Sharon

    • The Canadian geese sure seem to get around. As for that last fellow….. well, I couldn’t resist (though I didn’t notice until I downloaded the shot.)

  2. Those little ones sure are cute. That last photo is definitely interesting. I always enjoy parks like this. I’m sure you and Sissy had a lovely stroll.
