2013-55a random shot (unedited) that caught my eye during a stroll on a foggy, minus tide sort of beach….

A wonderful fact to reflect upon, that every human creature is constituted to be that profound secret and mystery to every other.

    • I see what you mean, but the snow is a bit ‘dirty’ in this scenario, eh? One of them purely accidental shots I almost tossed, but then it sort of grew on me. Apparently you found it pleasing, too. I’m glad.

  1. This is really lovely Gunta. I often look at my feet when I’m on the beach and see all the patterns and pools, bits of seaweed and pebbles and I know there are photos to be had but whenever I try, I’m always left very disappointed with the pictures I get. I should keep trying as there is plenty of inspiration around and seeing your picture this morning makes me think I should try harder. Excellent work! 🙂

    • Thank you much, but it wasn’t artificially converted to black & white… the touch of color in the seaweed was not doctored, though I’ll admit it’s really subtle. I think the thick and heavy fog provided the extremely muted colors.

    • Thanks so much for the extravagant compliment. In the meantime I’m struggling with an excess of bird shots taken the same day… nesting time of the shore birds.

    • That’s the beauty of abstract…. you get to choose what you decide to see. The pewter look of the sun struggling to shine through the fog is what drew me in.
