cloudy sunset at low tide

Could not decide between these two rather similar shots…  would love to get a vote.View 1View 2

Old friends pass away, new friends appear. It is just like the days. An old day passes, a new day arrives. The important thing is to make it meaningful: a meaningful friend – or a meaningful day.

  1. I guess I missed the voting… but here is my opinion anyways 🙂 They’re both amazing shots but I like the 1st one better, there’s a softness to it that I don’t find in the second shot. And LOVE the quote “The important thing is to make it meaningful”. Lovely post, Gunta.

    • I decided I liked the 1st one best, after looking at them both from everyone’s POV, too. It was pretty hard to decide, though. But what was the most fun was getting all the different opinions! I totally enjoyed that the most! 🙂

    • Loved the stone in the 2nd one, too…. have played with that effect in previous shots…. but personally I ended up liking the softer focus and the emphasis on the reflections in the 1st. What was the most fun was seeing the different points of view from all the wonderful folks who commented here….
BTW…. it’s not a lighthouse, but a horn buoy. It has a sensor that sets off the fog horn to bellowing when it senses the mist in the air……. 😉
