Meandering with camera…
great quote and beautiful sunset Gunta
Thanks, my friend. It’s been pretty perfect weather and skies for these marvelous sunsets.
Lovely Gunta, So warm and deliciously golden.
Thank you…. I do try to provide for you folks who miss out on some of these delicious sunsets. 🙂
The reflection of the sun on the water and the silhouette makes for an amazing photo Gunta. Very lovely indeed! 🙂
Don’t you just wish you were here? 😉 The sunsets have been pretty impressive lately.
Sooo Beautiful! Perfect quote. Thank you, Gunta!
You’re most welcome, Amy.
love the wet beach reflections right up my street
When it comes to beaches, you and I tend to be on the same page…
That’s a beauty for sure!
Thanks Phil…. I just keep looking for that alligator. 😉
Oh just keep looking, you’ll find him. 😀
Soooo pretty, Gunta…and oh, to be that lone witness…what a spectacle, and the person’s presence adds so much to it. Very nice capture. 🙂
Thanks, Scott…. color me lucky and very happy to be living this dream.
Most welcome…glad you’re so happy out there, living your dream. 🙂
A beautiful sunset – my favourite subject. Thank you.
Thanks Lizziejoy! It makes me happy to share.
It’s time to sell prints my friend.
Ahhh no, my friend, I’d be afraid that would take the fun and magic out of it…
So beautiful, Gunta, and that quote fits perfectly. 🙂
Thanks, Sylvia…. hope you’ve arrived and enjoying your faster internet.
”Melted” is exactly the right word! I wonder what it tastes like, I almost do! I also again ponder for a little while on the amount of work involved thinking about getting the right picture in the right place at the right time, and then finding the right words to go with it. I admire that very much.
I have to chuckle at your comment about the amount of “work” involved because, really, it’s all magic. The beach draws me like a magnet and then presents me with these phenomenal shots (all opportunistic, sans tripod)…. though many are snapped, few are chosen. Then a cursory google adds the finishing touch I hope you’re still able to admire the play rather than the work…. 😉
Spoken like a true artist! And one that knows her nature…
You know, each of your photos are spectacular…form the crashing waves to the calm seas…..thanks for sharing
breathtaking. stunning image!
So beautiful and the person in the pic makes one think he is enjoying the solitude.
…and I was enjoying him enjoying the solitude! I love it when these people pose for me! 😉
Oh and the lonely figure giving the whole picture perspective. Fabulous!
I thought that was mighty thoughtful of that person to be standing out there. Iif you look to the left of him (her?) you can see spray crashing above the cliffs. The sea was, once again, kind of wild this evening and I worried that he might get knocked off that ledge he was standing on. It was pretty hard to tell just how close those waves were crashing with the sun blinding me.
Beautiful Gunta. I love the reflections in the wet sand.. smashing photograph! 🙂
Thank you…. I’m also drawn to reflections (add that to the broody skies and I’m sure I’ll discover more things to love out there!) 😉
Always a sucker for a good sunset 🙂
Me, too (obviously). 😉
The old ones are the best ones 😀
The time of the day for peaceful reflections. Love the silhouette effect.
Thanks Newsy… I’m never quite sure what I’ll get when I shoot into the sun like that, but happy accidents do occur.
