Meandering with camera…
Fun to watch. Maybe even better tried. Great post!
It does look like a lot of fun, Gunta…saw some guys doing that down on Jordanelle Lake, was the first time I had seen it. Incredible. And I love the dune-buggy, too…seems like it’s from another era, almost. 🙂
Fun thing to look at and admire, I wouldn’t try it 🙂
Looks like a lot more fun than surfing. I likely would have considered it a few decades ago.. 😉
Wow! I was thinking that looked like something I’d like to try until I saw how high they were getting! It seems the more kids I have, the less adventurous I become. (c:
It looked like they could control how high they’d go…. but it also seemed like you needed some muscle (or something) to control the kites because the wind was really strong. I googled kite surfing and one site suggested a week of training before trying it on your own. But, man did it look like fun. A whole lot more fun than plain vanilla surfing.
wow,….what fun!!!! (and the wet suits indicate well what you have already said about the water temperature~!)
I’ve only seen a couple of hardy souls brave or crazy enough to try swimming in our waters in all the years I’ve been here.
Fantastic pictures, Gunta. Must have been interesting to watch, hope they never get tangled with each other.
Thank you… yes, very interesting. I wondered how they kept from getting tangled up, too.
Daniel just went paragliding and he loved it! Seems like so much fun but I’m too scared. Mainly of the height. Not the movement haha
Fabulous! And – it reminds me how exciting movement usually is:)
Yes, fun to watch, but too exciting for these old bones.
We can but dream!
Wow – what great catches and what a lot of fun they’re having! It’s fabulous to watch, isn’t it?
It looked utterly fantastic… if I were just a ‘few’ years younger… 😉
It’s most certainly a game for the youngsters!
Thank you, m’dear…
I love to watch kite surfers. My next door neighbours are always down there on windy days. Look like such fun, and I’m sure it’s a great “keep fit” exercise.;) Lovely photos for the theme, Gunta.
They are fun to watch. Almost made me want to try it. I could definitely use some of that “keep fit” exercise! 😉
