Sunset Bay, Oregon

I did make it to the beach on Saturday, but the fog was so thick you could cut it with a knife (as the saying goes.) Didn’t even bother pulling the camera out. Even Sissy wasn’t enthused about her usual run in the sand. So it’s back to archives again (Feb 2013)sunset bay-0871There’s a certain slant of light,
On winter afternoons,
That oppresses, like the weight
Of cathedral tunes.

  1. Oodles of gorgeousness. I remain forever jealous of your location! Being here on the coast of WA has reminded me just how much I miss the coast. Yes, we have rivers at home, but it’s just not the same.

  2. Those could be some heavy tunes…. I think I’d like to spend some time on that bit of rock/island out there…maybe during the time of summer sunsets…maybe during winter storms. It looks like a good place, however one might get there. Very nice, Gunta.

    • I bet your archives far outshine mine. But thanks for the kind remark anyway! It was nice to get out, but I didn’t pick the best of days. Might give it another shot today. Sissy really needs a good run for sure!

Oh please do....
